Enigma2 is a Linux-based firmware used on satellite receivers like Dreambox, VU+, Zgemma, and Edision. It's a powerful IPTV platform — once configured, IPTV channels integrate seamlessly with your satellite channels in the same channel list.
What You Need
- An Enigma2 receiver (Dreambox, VU+, Zgemma, Edision, etc.)
- Active internet connection (Ethernet recommended)
- Your GIGA IPTV M3U URL (from your activation email)
- A PC to access the receiver's web interface (Enigma2 Web Interface)
Method 1: E2m3u2bouquet Plugin (Best Method)
This plugin automatically converts your M3U playlist into Enigma2 bouquets (channel groups).
- On your receiver, go to Menu → Plugins → Plugin Browser.
- Search for and install "E2m3u2bouquet".
- After installation, launch the plugin from the Plugins menu.
- In the plugin settings, enter your M3U URL in the playlist field.
- Configure the bouquet name and category settings as desired.
- Press OK to run the plugin — it will download and create bouquets automatically.
- Restart the channel scan or press the yellow button to reload bouquets.
- Your IPTV channels will appear alongside your satellite channels in the EPG.
💡 Tip: Schedule E2m3u2bouquet to run automatically at boot so your channel list is always up to date. In the plugin settings, enable Auto Start and set a refresh interval (24 hours recommended).
Method 2: Manual IPTV via Web Interface
- Find your receiver's IP address in Menu → Setup → System → Network → Adapter Settings.
- On your PC, open a browser and go to http://[receiver-ip] to access the Enigma2 web interface.
- Go to Bouquet Editor and create a new bouquet called "GIGA IPTV".
- Use the web interface to add IPTV streams manually using your M3U URL entries.
- Save and reload the channel list on your receiver.
Method 3: Direct Stream via Media Player
For quick testing without plugin installation:
- On your Enigma2 receiver, open the Media Player (usually in the blue button menu).
- Select Add Network Stream.
- Enter your M3U URL — the receiver will load and play the stream.

Troubleshooting
- Plugin not found? Make sure your receiver is connected to the internet and your feed URL is active in the Plugin Browser settings.
- Bouquets not appearing? After running E2m3u2bouquet, press Menu → Reload Bouquets or restart the receiver.
- Channels playing but buffering? Check your Ethernet connection and ensure minimum 25 Mbps for HD channels.
- Some channels not working? These may be HEVC/H.265 streams — check your receiver's codec support. Newer models (2018+) support H.265 natively.
- EPG not showing IPTV channels? In E2m3u2bouquet settings, enable the EPG Import option and add your EPG URL.
